Fabs: It’s always a high endurance match with Mark. He’d been in control for most of it with amazing drop shots and fh cross. Changing pace and directions manu the time put me under stress and he also had a match point at 5-4 in the 3rd!! But the Sunday roast he had before playing, I think favoured me to get to tie break and take advantage of his fatigue. So close - well played!

Mark: Ran out of legs! Had to beat Fabs in 2 otherwise the 15 year age gap would tell! Well played Fabs, just too good. You played some brilliant shots!
