Eliano: Very enjoyable match! It was hot and humid and we were both on our reserves after the 1st set but had long and fun rallies throughout. Lucky to win a few more points in the end. Looking forward to playing again!

David: A brilliant game with Helene on a lovely evening at Eel Brook Common! The first set was very competitive! I got an early break and took a 2-0 lead but Helene fought back and reduced the deficit to 2-1! The next few games went with serve but Helene deservedly levelled up at 4-4. To her credit, Helene played some aggressive groundstrokes and made me work hard for every point! In the end I just about managed to win the next two games and take the opening set. The score was evenly poised at 1-1 in the second set but I won the next four games to go 5-1 ahead. Helene saved two match-points and made it 5-2 but I eventually sealed victory with a volley in what proved to be the final game! Well played Helene! You made me run all over the court and played a smart game which exploited some of my weaknesses! I really enjoyed meeting you! I hope we can meet again and keep up the good work on court!
