Hugh: Very enjoyable match with Joyce. I was lucky in the 1st set that she was feeling out of sorts after illness as she showed more of her true game in the 2nd set with very good serving and nice shots off both sides. Hope you feel better soon. Enjoy the rest of your matches.

Hugh: A very enjoyable and close game with Sergio. Conditions were very tough with strong wind & then rain for second part of 2nd set. Very good rallies & tight points despite that, both of us struggled to hold serve much. Thanks for the game, good luck in your other matches, hope you’ve warmed up!

Paul: Fun game with Hugh with long rallies. He has a sharp cross court forehand which made me rethink my recovery and positioning. Last 3 games were also very tight. Really enjoyed our game thanks Hugh!

Filip: As usual very competitve match with Hugh with small margins, every game was like a tiebreak. Managed to improve my serve but the returns were not that good. Hugh was good at the net and lobs. This is probably my fourth Spin match with Hugh and we take turns in winning with small margins. I really enjoy that we manage to improve our game and be consistent. Looking to play with Hugh again!

Hugh: Another tight match with Filip. First set both of us struggled to keep serve & lots of close games. Lots of close games in the 2nd too but neither of us could break the other apart from one break of serve by Filip which was decisive in 2nd set. Well played Filip, very enjoyable as always.

Ben: Cheers Hugh! Great match and don’t think the scoreboard tells the whole story. Lots of really tight rallies and Hugh had me running around a lot with some excellent shot placement. Lots of fun, thanks for the great match.

Lars: It was great meeting Hugh. Very tight first set and some close games at the beginning of the second. After that the weather conditions worsened quite a bit, but we just managed see the game out. Thanks for the match and good luck for the rest of your league matches!
