Chris: Lovely match with Ben, which could have gone either way. Ben hits really well cross court with a lot of top spin, which makes defending him really hard. He plays very well close to the net and he scored many points by lobbing me. Really enjoyed our match Ben, I hope we play again soon!

Ben: Great fun playing Chris. Top player and really well done on the win. Super consistent and very good at hitting balls on the run. Lots of really fun rallies…would love to play again!

Paul: It was great to play again against Aaron. First set was tough for him as it took him some time to get in the zone. He picked up pretty well in second set where we had many deuces and longer rallies with lots of shot variations. This takes our face to face to 1-1 so looking forward to the 3rd match ! Thanks Aaron !

Arron: I was looking forward to this match, I knew it was going to be a tough one, Paul came in strong in the first set, I had a frustrating moment and couldn’t shake it off, I felt like I was more tuned into the second set but Paul is a great player, hitting really nice winners dead on the line. I’ll make you work harder in our 3rd match!! 1-1 well played Paul 👍🏻

Paul: Great game with Rahul. His one handed backhand is very consistent. Good defence too he really picked up in the second set. MTB could have gone both ways. Overall really good game. Thanks Rahul !

Rahul: Really good game that took almost 2 hours. After a nervy first set where Paul was very consistent, i felt like i was being a lot more relaxed in the second. Nerves took over again in the tie break where Paul kept his cool and came back from a deficit and clinched the match.

Paul: 2.2-hour game with Maxim! Enjoyed it very much. Except the second set it was a very tight match with lots of good rallies! Thanks for the game Maxim. See you next time

Maxim: Great game Paul!

Tom: Paul is a strong hitter who can place his serve well. I was able to capitalise on his slow start but he improved in the second set. He was 2-0 up in the second and forced me to find a different level to get to 5-2 before I took it 6-3. My game felt off tonight. My serve did some damage in the first set but let me down at times in the second, notably when I was serving for the match at 5-2. A fun match but one I felt I approached too cautiously throughout. Thanks again Paul and best of luck for the rest of the season.

Julianna: Thanks for the match, lots of running and some long rallies. Stephen had strong and very consistent fundamentals!!
