Pavel: Had a great match with Adrian and we even got lucky with the weather! Was great fun thanks for the match!

Adrian: What a comeback from Pavel after losing the first set, as my mind was already set that I'm going to get this win! I couldn't have been more wrong, Pavel started to gain more and more confidence in his shots and his first serve as the game went on, and as he invited me to come to the net with some tricky slices I became quire exhausted, off position and started missing a lot. Had good fun on the court, and the match was a really enjoyable one, I was thaught a lesson today, well played!

Marty: What a fantastic match! Unbelievable momentum changes all the way through and it was hard to keep up with the score sometimes. Well beaten in the first set I started hitting hard serves and that got me through the second set. The third and deciding set was the most competitive and fought to the bitter end. Julian: A wacky day of tennis with Jamal. Wind was unbelievable at Victoria park so I wouldn’t say the scores are super representative of our level. Still had a fun time!

Jamal: Well deserved win from Julian today. Too many unforced errors from me, and Julian was far more consistent. Would love to play Julian again on a less windy day - at points the wind felt like a third player lol. Best of luck with the rest of your league games!
