Peter: Great to meet you Rich. The rain had stopped and it was sunny but the slow drying courts gave up some very challenging non-bouncy conditions so it felt like a bit of a penalty shootout. Hopefully we can play again soon Rich!

Rich: Great fun. The bounce of the ball was almost like playing with a small rugby ball. Peter won the crucial points so hats off and well done!

Peter: Wow what a game. Alejandro is such a nice guy and we were both smiling and laughing throughout. Some amazing points - every point in that first set felt like a fight, aggressive tennis and neither of us were making many unforced errors. Despite the 6-2 second set it felt like the match could have gone either way at any point. Well played Alejandro

Alejandro: Peter has a fantastic forehand and was tough to keep up with, had a really fun time and had some incredible rallies. Good games!

Marcus: Really great meeting you Youenn, a really great guy, played out a thriller, some tentative play at times, but mostly pretty fast paced which could have gone either way, went one way then the other, even had to contend with the floodlights going off and changing court and then back again. 😳 Definitely play again, but will have to be at my best to stay pace with Youenn’s good shot making.

Youenn: Thanks, Marcus. A well-deserved win. Far too many aces there with that great first serve!

Peter: Really great to meet you Youenn, thank you for the post game pint, it was great to share some stories. Very, very close game - I felt like i was on the defensive the entire match and just started to edge it end of the first set. I need to lie down for a few days now See you again soon Youenn

Youenn: A fab match! I felt I played as well as I have all round, but just too good for me in the end. That first set was really close but got away in the second. Thoroughly deserved win! Great to meet.

Peter: Laurence is a great guy and im really hoping to meetup and play again. I definitely had an "on" day and the rallies were much closer than the score suggests. Looking forward to when we next meet Laurence

Laurence: Great game. Peter's definitely got some skillz

Thomas: A bit of an epic on a sunny Sunday. Kamila forced me into a defensive counterpunching game with some powerful, well-placed groundstrokes and big serves. I was lucky to come away with the first set, which could have gone either way. The second set swung one-way then the other. I had to be patient, chipping and slicing to get a foothold in points. Ultimately, a few too many double faults and bit more aggressive play from me dragged it to a tie-break, which i just sneaked through. Thanks for a great game.
