Marcus: Well played Youenn, thoroughly deserved win, l had a brief sniff in the second set, but your consistency and good play showed out. Yes 1 each in our match play, but l will need to play a lot better than l did today to get my head in front!! 🎾🎾🎾

Marcus: First off, what a great bloke Ollie is, really friendly, only been playing 18 months, but crikey you can see that in time he will be a really good player. Joe: A great game with Marc, who had a top first serve and rarely made any unforced errors very evenly matched!

Marcus: First of all, what a great bloke Joe is, really enjoyed playing him, loads of good chat between games. 😃 So evenly matched and loads of good points, l think Joe would agree we both played quite tentatively but some great points in there as well, we played fast and furious after the match, so we both know we can both play a bit! 😃 Joe deserved the win, pegging me back in the second set and then had the momentum to see it through on the tie-break. Sam: A great game on a breezy Sunday afternoon. Marcus has a dangerous first serve and gets some wicked spin on his shots. The scoreline doesn't reflect some very close games in there that went to deuce multiple times, woth us playing oit some fantastic points.

Marcus: Thanks for the game Sam, really enjoyed it despite the loss, very well deserved, you make very few unforced errors and frustratingly for your opponent, always seem to get the ball back in court pretty much all the time!!! 😳 Some tentative tennis at times, but there were some really good points in there too with quite a few games going to deuces!
